PAL Regroup & Level Up! – “Branding” Your Social Media
We all hoped that 2021 would be a huge improvement on 2020 and – well, it didn’t exactly happen that way. But that’s okay. We’re here to help you REGROUP and Level UP in 2022!
We invite our PAL members to attend this Level-Up session to network and focus on our author/illustrator platforms. We’ll each come with a statement that explains what we want our social media platforms to say about us and our books/illustrations. Each member will share one social media account they want to focus on and as a group, we’ll discuss how that platform supports or distracts from your brand. Our hope is to have members come away with a few tangible and achievable social media goals for 2022.
This virtual meeting will take place LIVE on the Zoom Platform.

SCBWI Arizona PAL Author Showcase and Q&A
Beginning November 2020, SCBWI AZ will host PAL Author Showcases to celebrate recent PAL book releases. This event will spotlight authors and/or illustrators, who will introduce themselves and their books, and provide attendees the opportunity to get answers to their general publishing questions.
These free events will be moderated by PAL coordinators Laura Ellen and Dianne White.

SCBWI Arizona PAL Book Cover Submission
If you are a PAL member with new books coming out in the upcoming quarter, don’t forget to send in your book covers to be featured in the rotating slide show on the SCBWI-AZ home page.

Upcoming deadlines are as follows:
- – Submit by March 15, for releases during April 1 – June 30
- – Submit by June 15, for releases during July 1 – September 30
- – Submit by September 15, for releases during October 1 – December 31
- – Submit by December 15, for releases during January 1 – March 30
PLEASE NOTE: You must be a current SCBWI member in order to have your PAL book cover listed on the region’s rotating slide show.
